To be healthy is not only a state of physical health, but one of character, of attitude, a devotion to Right Choices. Health arrives not in the form of a pill or potion, but on the wings of fortitude. Real health today is a struggle to live the Right Life in a Sick World. Most products advertised are unhealthy. McDonald's and Burger King food will steal years off your life. Prozac brings new addictions to an already depressed mind. Sugar burns you out and coke burns you up.
The good healthy foods: fresh natural organic whole fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, and a few grains are the basis of dietary excellence. Add clean fresh oxygen and water and little else is needed in our diet's to be healthy. We do not need meat of any kind. We do not need coffee, but it's a fun drug sometimes!
We need clean vibrant salt, and probably plenty of it too! When we drink the correct amount of water, which is far more then most people drink, we can tolerate more salt.
There is much argument about oils and fats. I choose to use Extra Virgin Olive Oil exclusively in my kitchen for everything. I drink it with lemon and use it when on the rare occasion I stray from the Right Choice and fry food, usually a couple of eggs for breakfast. I hear that coconut oil is excellent but i have not yet had the opportunity to try it.
